Still Searching for 2026? Here’s Why Students Choose CampusKey First

If you’re in full-on research mode for your 2026 student digs, we get it. You’ve probably bounced from one website to the next, scoped out the TikToks, cross-checked Google reviews, and asked your cousin’s best friend’s roommate where they stayed. But here’s what thousands of students across South Africa have already discovered:

CampusKey isn’t just where you stay, it’s where your student journey truly begins.

Choosing where to live during uni is a big deal. You’re not just picking four walls and a bed, you’re choosing the environment that’s going to shape your independence, friendships, study habits, mental health, and personal growth. And when you put all that into perspective, CampusKey comes out on top every time.

Here’s why we’re the first choice for future-focused students and why 2026 could be your best year yet:

1. All-Inclusive Living That Actually Feels Easy

Student life is hectic enough without surprise bills, dodgy Wi-Fi, or missing teaspoons. At CampusKey, everything’s designed to help you settle in without the stress. Our all-inclusive offering means you get one monthly bill with no hidden costs, no extra admin, and no landlord drama.

Think:

  1. Stylish, fully furnished rooms ready to move in
  2. Uncapped high-speed Wi-Fi (perfect for streaming, studying, or both)
  3. On-site gyms, chill zones, study spaces, and laundry facilities
  4. Weekly cleaning, 24/7 security, and maintenance support

Living here means you can focus on what actually matters, your degree, your social life, and your personal goals.

2. Community That Makes You Feel Like You Belong

One of the biggest fears about going to uni? Feeling alone in a new city. We’ve got you. At CampusKey, you’re not just signing a lease, you’re stepping into a built-in community that’s here to welcome, support, and celebrate you.

From the moment you check in, you’re part of something bigger. Our Student Mentor Programme pairs you with someone who’s been through it all before, while our 500+ annual events help you make real connections fast, no awkward small talk required.

There’s always something happening:

  1. Rooftop movie nights
  2. Mental health & wellbeing events
  3. Social sports tournaments
  4. Game nights, cultural celebrations, and creative collabs

You don’t just find friends here, you find your people.

3. Wellbeing Isn’t an Add-On—It’s a Priority

At CampusKey, student wellbeing is part of the blueprint. Your mental health matters just as much as your marks and we’re serious about creating a space where you can feel good, not just do good.

Through our Let’s Talk sessionsLiving & Learning campaigns, and Go Change the World programme, we help students build real-life skills like confidence, resilience, time management, and emotional awareness. It’s about preparing you for more than exams, it’s about setting you up for life.

Bonus? All this support pays off.

4. Location, Location, VIBE

With CampusKey communities in key student cities across South Africa, Stellenbosch, Pretoria, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Potchefstroom, and Gqeberha. You’re never far from campus or your next adventure.

Each property has been purpose-built to blend comfort, connection, and convenience. Whether you want to live minutes from your lectures, sip your morning coffee on the balcony, or hang out in stylish communal lounges, we’ve got a space that suits your student vibe.
